Hi!
A bit about me. I recently graduated with an Honors Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western. Along the way, I’ve worked at TAXI Advertising and Design as an Account Manager ‘Intern’ for three consecutive summers with clients such as Koodo Mobile, TELUS mobility and The Land Conservancy of British Columbia. Most recently, I have been working as an independent strategic consultant and ‘Projet Chameleon’ at Manara. A reality enthusiast, I am currently developing Bite To Basics, a website and online community on realistic healthy living – for those of us trying to find the right balance between spinach and scotch.
I believe in design thinking as an essential business asset, using the human-centric approach to problem solving, actively engaging both sides of the brain, and designing for real, tangible social change. This blog is my adventure from b school to d school; my search for the story between strategy, communications and design.
I like Oscar Wilde, cupcakes, puns, yoga, the tambourine and pretending that I am an undercover anthropologist at various social functions.
Drop in as I rediscover Toronto, get in touch with my inner designer and rant about my everday musings as a newly initiated member of the ‘real world’.
